Co-production with the Global South: Labor as a universal topic for cooperation

The session is devoted to strategies and practices of international cooperation in the production of films about labor with the countries of BRICS+, the CIS, Latin America, Asia and Africa, where the topic of labor, social justice and economic development is also extremely relevant. The participants will discuss the search for partners, co-financing mechanisms (national funds, co-production schemes), cultural aspects of cooperation, distribution and festival prospects for such projects based on common values and challenges.
